The Komodo-x Cinema Camera sits between RED’s entry-level Komodo and its high-end Raptor cinema cameras, keeping the same ultra-compact form factor as the original Komodo while stepping up image quality and performance

Sensor & Image Quality

• A new 6K Super35 image sensor — the same physical size as the original Komodo 6K S35 global shutter sensor — offering improved shadow quality, better color depth, and double the supported frame rates
• A 19.9-megapixel Super35 CMOS sensor measuring 27.03 x 14.26mm
• 16.5 stops of dynamic range
• Electronic global shutter design

Recording Formats & Frame Rates

• Internal ProRes 4444XQ 4:4:4 recording at 4096 x 2160 up to 60 fps
• Higher-resolution REDCODE RAW at 6144 x 3240 (80fps), 5120 x 2700 (96fps), 4096 x 2160 (120fps), and 2040 x 1080 (240fps)
• Data rates up to 560 MB/s using CFexpress Type B cards, with phase- and contrast-detect autofocus
